As a pregnant woman you hear a lot of new terms. One that you will hear fairly often is a “normal pregnancy”. What is a “normal pregnancy”?
There is no textbook pregnancy. Just look at our list of articles and see all the possible side effects and complications that can happen as a result of pregnancy. If you talk to other moms, chances are their second pregnancy was nothing like their first.
The lesson here is that you never know what to expect in pregnancy. Think of it as preparation for motherhood; because just like in pregnancy, there is no way to predict the path of your child. What is a “normal child” anyway?
